East Broad Top Rail Road Excursion

Part 1

Tnis may be the longest video put on Glo Tube yet, running nearly 15 minutes. I's the outbound excursion on the EBTRR from Orbisonia Station to some point out in the countryside, on a sultry August day in 1987. Titles have been added, but the original soundtrack is the only "narration." The return trip, which will be featured in the next Video Jonal, is shorter.

It occurs to me that 40 years ago people would gather at homes or church halls to look at the slides anyone lucky enough to travel abroad had taken...now, everyone has excellent videos of most of their trips, but no one wants to watch them. Or do they? At least someone thinking of trying this excursion on their own family vacation might look at it. And maybe some find videos like these better entertainment than they'd find on TV these days. What do you think? Have you looked at it? I'd love to hear from you with any thoughts.
