May 31, 2008. Now for something totally
different. Today
is the 50th anniversary of my 16th birthday (you do the math). And to celebrate
my birthday my sons and daughter-in-law took me for a day in the city last Monday
(Memorial Day), highlighted by a "Duck Tour," riding over the city streets
and into and on top of the San Francisco Bay. This week's video (just under 10
minutes) is the video highlights I took, with the landmarks noted in titles added
at the appropriate points. Beginning and ending at Fishermen's Wharf, it passes
the Cable Car terminus, Stockton Street in
Chinatown, Union Square, and a cruise a mile or so up the Bay, around Giants Stadium.
