Between January 2001 and July 2006, your
webmaster contributed 1000 essays ranging from memories of growing up in Blacklick
Township and working as an usher at the Capital Theater to writing the teen column
for the Journal and my thoughts about culture war and gay marriage. Beginning
with this page, I'm beginning a new collection of video "Jonals" (as
before, a play on the word "journal" and my name) sharing video clips
of my travels and thoughts about them from the past 25 years, some of them in
"Home Page Country" and others farther afield. Each one will contain
a new narration addressed to the Home Page audience, and as I get into the swing
of the process, I hope to provide a new one every weekend. Feedbackopinions,
suggestions, ideasas always, are welcome. This first one is a less-than-four-minute
collection of clips from Cape May, New Jersey, taken in 1988. Besides my son Michael,
who took most of this footage and is mentioned in the video, also seen is
my younger
son, Kevin, who was 12 at the time. Jon Kennedy
