Nanty Glo Park & Pool and Campground encompass over 100 acres of beautiful wooded areas. This location on Lincoln Avenue offers a crystal clear swimming pool, camping sites with water and electricity, hiking trails, a stocked fish pond with catch and release fishing, pavilion rentals, and playgrounds.
Nanty Glo is a major entry point to the Ghost Town Trail which runs directly through the town. This section of the trail connects Ebensburg to the East and Vintondale, Dilltown and Blacklick to the West. The trail spans 47.3 miles, is part of a larger trail system in Western Pennsylvania known as the Trans Allegheny Trails network and is designated as a National Recreation Trail by the US Department of the Interior.
Trout fishing in the Blacklick Creek is also available. The creek runs parallel to the Ghost Town Trail through the center of the borough and is stocked with fish twice a year by the South Branch Fishing Club
