1957 Kentucky Derby which Blacklick Township native Bill Hartack won and in which Willie Shoemaker blundered. Hartack won in 1957, 1964, and 1969 against famous jockies like Eddie Arcaro and Willie Shoemaker. He also won in 1960 and 1962 for a total of five wins.
