Jonal entry 987 | Wednesday, May 31 2006
Those who remember the first Jonals here on the Nanty Glo Home Page will remember that we began writing the journal entries in Oakwood at Burbank, California, and that we shortly afterward moved to Marina Del Rey, the yacht harbor for the city of Los Angeles. Four blocks from our apartment in the Marina was the beginning of the Venice Beach promenade, which I walked daily while working there. On Friday and Saturday, May 19 and 20, I had the opportunity to return to Venice and again "walk the boards" (actually, the promenade is asphalt, but "boardwalk" just seems necessary for a beachside walk). And I got a slide show's worth of photos on my relatively new digital camera. So with no further delay, here they are...click the thumbnail index below to start the slide show. After clicking "Click here" to start the slides, press <F11> to make your web browser full screen, for best viewing. Press the arrow in the green circle and the slides should begin advancing automatically, but if your browser doesn't do that, click the right button to advance.
