Kennedy's 'Postcards from
Another vacation photoa closely
I guess the second roundthe editing passof my book just finished has silenced the music of my muses, so for today's Jonal I'm sharing another of my vacation photos from my visit to the Blacklick Valley and Johnstown last October. This one is my best view of the Nanty Glo Gazebo, which is adjacent to the head of the Ghost Town Trail's new extension from Nanty Glo to Ebensburg. This shot was tricky, as there is so little "open" background all around the Gazebo. Even from this view, a bit of the Wagon Wheel bar had to be cropped off the left, and a back porch on a building on the right could not be cropped off without taking off a chunk of the Gazebo roof. In the background is McMullin Field with the field house and, beyond that, the rock dump affectionately known as "Mount Heisley."
