'Nanty Glo's children' rapidly growing up
It was five years ago when four of my grandchildren had their picture taken in front of the National Christmas Tree. At the time, Jon labeled them "Nanty's Glo's children," which I thought had an inspirational ring to it. http://www.nantyglo.com/xmas01.htm#3
This year we made it instead to Mt. Vernon, or George Washington's estate. An impressive museum that does honor to our first president of the United States opened only two months ago that has visitors and tourists flocking there in droves. Besides touring Washington's Mt. Vernon estate, the museum offers movies and hjistorical artifacts that makes the visit a most rewarding experience. See http://www.mountvernon.org/
For anyone visiting the Washington, DC, area, I highly recommend that they schedule Mt. Vernon on their sightseeing list.
Now, five years later, Nanty Glo's children are again shown as they are rapidly growing. Left to right, they are Allison, 8, Danny, 7, Caitlin, 11, and Kevin, 10. A proud grandfather stands behind.
