"Ah-sha") is the daughter of Ronald and Kathryn Cameron of Mundys Corner.

A
2002 graduate of Central Cambria High School, Aja's all-American-girl good looks
not surprisingly got her selected 2001 Homecoming Queen. "I was surprised to have
been selected," she says, "And I'll remember it always!" While
in high school, she won one district and two state awards for e-commerce by learning
how to design and build websites. And although she's put college on hold for the
time being, she hopes to study graphic design in the future. She
says growing up in Jackson Township was fun; "We did all kinds of fun things...bike
riding in the woods and on the pipeline, playing in the creeks looking for crayfish
and salamanders, and sled riding in the winter." But rural Jackson Township held
little promise of employment so, like so many others before her, she left the
area not long after graduation. "I
liked growing up there and I made good friends, but if you need a job...you need
to move away. I like to go home to visit, but since I've moved away I've met people
of different cultures which I find very interesting." Currently
living on Leesburg, Virginia, Aja works as a leasing consultant for Van Metre
Corporation; a property management concern based in Burk, Va. "I'm responsible
for renting apartments, writing leases, and helping tenants with their concerns,"
she says, "I took a business technology course at Admiral Peary Vo-tech. It sharpened
my office skills and opened me up to dealing with computers, and people. "Leesburg
is very interesting," she says, "There are antique shops to wander through, very
good Chinese and Italian restaurants, and large malls." When she's not working,
Aja likes to do needle work, go shopping, spend time on her computer, and spend
time with her pet cat Lizzie Borden and her boyfriend, Jason. "I currently have
no marriage plans...we've been together for three years and we just enjoy our
time together," she says.

"Basically,
my life is going well at this time...I have a job that I like, I like my apartment,
and I like living and working in Leesburg." Anyone
