| | This Nanty Glo landmark is hardly recognizable
these days. However, take a closer look. It's Brownie's Garage with a facelift!
The building, on the corner of Second and Chestnut Streets, was recently purchased
by Allen Farabaugh and totally remodeled. The first floor will be the site of
an as-yet-undetermined business, and the second floor has been turned into a nicely
appointed two-bedroom apartment. This is one vintage Nanty Glo building that was
spared the wrecking ball. | |

| Fun facts
(or "facts," so it says, but take with a grain)
In the last 4000 years, no new animals have
been domesticated. Babies are born without
knee caps. They don't appear until the child reaches 2-6 years of age. Sent

| Thought for today
It's good to have money and the things money
can buy, but it's good, too, to check up once in a while and make sure that you
haven't lost the things money can't buy.
