Debra Winger and Anthony Hopkins in ShadowlandsJon Kennedy was for some years a reviewer of current movie releases, during his campus ministry and journalism career with Renaissance Review, Goleta Valley Today, the Stanford Daily, San Jose's Times community newspapers and elsewhere. A three-year archive of those reviews was published on his San Jose-based Silicon Valley Today website, Robert Duvall recreates himself as the Apostlewhich is no longer published. Those reviews are now archived here to provide an overview of the pioneering approach to reviewing movies "from a Christian perspective" in those articles. Special reviews of the classic film, How Green Was My Valley (1941) and the 1994 film about C.S. Lewis and his wife, Joy, Shadowlands, are also linked here.
