Annual kids fishing derby

THIS BIG - One of the Nanty Glo Moose Lodge's biggest fun events for kids each year is the annual fishing derby. Above, girls who've caught the prize-winning fishes hold them up for photos. The Lodge also distributes Christmas and Halloween treats for member families, has sponsored the Moose Youth Baseball team for more than 50 years, and other youth programs include Say No to Drugs Youth Awareness, scholarships for Valley high school graduates, and participates in a Moose National Yellowstone National Park employment program for older youths.
