Nanty Glo's oldest active club, the Moose is a family fraternity that is proud of its community service projects and record:
- adopt-a-highway (Route 271 through Nanty Glo)
- sponsor of youth baseball team for more than 50 years
- support of Say No to Drugs, Youth Awareness
- support of college scholarships for Valley high school graduates
- sending youth to Yellowstone National Park work program
- fundraisers for local causes like Nanty Glo Public Library*
- yearly kids' fishing derbys
- Halloween and Christmas treats for members' children
