More on Southern Cambria Streetcars

Letter No. 282 | January 15, 2002

I read George Dilling's remembrances of the Southern Cambria streetcar line. He mentioned not being sure where the transfer station was located. It was located in Mineral Point, as the line came down the valley crossing Saltlick Creek several times. It met the spur line to South Fork just above the present-day bridge into Mineral Point. From there the line went just above the river toward Echo.
