More memories about Buzz Wagner
Letter No. 273 | November 28, 2001
While checking out the NG home page, I came across several articles about Boyd Wagner. Our Nanty Glo 1942 class yearbook was dedicated to Buzz Wagner. He graduated in 1934.
I came across an interesting article on him in some aviation book I found at a local library. He was indeed the first Ace in WW2. I believe that his folks lived in the residence at the corner of Foster and Lloyd streets which was later the home of Mert Wilkinson and Pete Miller. At least that is best of my recollection.
The Air Force Museum in Dayton Ohio has a display dedicated to Boyd Wagner. His aunt donated one of his dress uniforms for the display.
