I've been surprised at how responsive Vintondale residents and former residents have been. On the other hand, I never attended a movie in Vintondale, never bought a car or a week's groceries there; went to a teen dance (in the canteen) there only once (heck, I went to more teen dances in Lilly—not to mention Twin Rocks—than Vintondale!). On the other hand, I hope to attend the Vintondale Homecoming this September, something Nanty Glo isn't competing for at present!
