Where are they now? Michelle Chiappini

Nanty Glo native,Michelle Chiappini, born June 15, 1967 is a 1985 graduate of Central Cambria High School, a 1987 graduate of Mount Aloysius College with an Associate in Occupational Therapy and a 1990 graduate of Towson University, Baltimore, with a B.S. in occupational therapy. Michelle is employed at UPMC Lee Regional Community Nursing Service as an occupational Therapist.

She works with patients to rehabilitate their upper body strengths, regain problem-solving abilities, and restore self-care abilities such as feeding, bathing, and dressing.

Married to Jackson Township native Harold Silbaugh since September 29, 1990, she and Harold are the parents of three children: Autumn, 8; Levi, 7, and Willow, 3. This young attractive family currently resides in Cresson but they are in the process of relocating to the Carlisle/York area.

Michelle, Harold, and children are active members of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Nanty Glo and are active in the Penn-Cambria Parent-Teacher Organization. Michelle's hobbies include singing at weddings, dried flower crafts, scrapbooking, and providing "limo service" for her active youngsters.

Memories of Nanty Glo?...."Going to Palmonari's Store, walking the railroad tracks, Emery's Drug Store, and hanging out with friends on the front porch" are some favorite memories of her days growing up in Nanty Glo.
