A Charney family photo (from about 1930) with, left to right: Helen (Charney) Anodide, born 1916, died 1999, Somerset; Mary Charney (widow), born 1880 died 1940, Nanty Glo; Nick Charney, born 1920, died 1994, Ananconda, Montana; John (Chink) Charney, born 1914 now residing in Detroit. Mike Charney, born 1912, died 1977, Nanty Glo; Alex Charney, born 1918, died 1992, Portchester, NY. Grandmother Mary was born in Europe. All family members were born in Vintondale, except for Mike, who was born in Heilwood. The photo was sent by Frank Charney, son of Mike Charney.
