Having been born in No. 1 Forge Row in Nantyglo back in 1911, I have often wondered if there are any photos of that area and the Wesleyan Chapel available. Both have unfortunately been demolished. Do you know where one might look for the church records or statistical records—births, deaths, marriages, etc.? My grandparents were Alfred Bevan and Mary (Martin) Bevan and they lived in Forge Row.
