Soon it will be St David's Day and the ex-pats will celebrate the special day. While surfing the net looking for some link with the homeland, it was a great thrill to come across the town where I was born, Blaina Gwent.

We on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland Australia Welsh Society will gather together on 26th February, and sing Cwm Rhondda with all the pathos, and thoughts of our Homeland, the land of our birth. Even though we didn't win the World Cup, we are gracious in Victory, Humble in Defeat, and we aim to do Better next time.
