Nature walk: Coyote Creek Trail, part 2

My walk on Thursday, May 19, picked up at the point of our farthest reach on the previous Coyote Creek Trail walk (link here). This video records the second segment, from Silver Creek Valley Blvd. to a large pond or reservoir a half mile to a mile south of the intersection of Freeways 101 and 85. Contrary to what I said on the video, it is not Anderson Reservoir and I have not been able to find any name for it. The latter may (but cannot be ascertained on any map I've found thus far, maps of trails are very hard to find and when found, they lack detail) — Anderson Reservoir may be where this trail eventually ends, in the hills above Morgan Hill.

Click the play button above for the Windows Media version, or if you are on a platform that is not Windows-compatible, click here to watch the video on YouTube. Double-click to make the video above full-screen.

The map shows the trail taken on May 19. The X marks the parking lot where the walk began and ended.

Next: Coyote Creek trail is put on hold for a visit to another California.

Useful work phrases: I don't know what your problem is, but I'll bet it's hard to pronounce.

Thought for today

In great literature, I become a thousand different men but still remain myself.
