Guadalupe River Trail, Part 1

Sunday was mostly sunny after church, but the forecast was for rain to begin that evening and continue for much of the week, so although it was ten degrees cooler than the previous Sunday, I was eager to get a video hike in. Where to go, as so many possibilities have opened? I really want to try that Stevens Creek Trail glimpsed in the previous Sunday's hike but not taken, and a friend at church told me that a trail off Marsh Road on the Bay Shore is even better than last week's Bayshore Trail.

But I was also eager to try the downtown San Jose--to-airport trail, Guadalupe River Park and Gardens Trail which I hadn't been on since it was first started with only a couple of blocks done. So that being considerably closer to home, that's where I headed.

This appears to be a three-part hike again ("appears" because I haven't yet processed the predicted second and third videos), and I believe it is the longest hike yet in miles covered. But there was not much climbing, other than in the park sections in downtown where there were some urban stairs and ramps connecting the street level to the river level and back.

Why does Sea World have a seafood restaurant? I'm halfway through my fish burger and I realize, Oh my...I could be eating a slow learner.
