Bayshore Trail, Part 1

Finally, my Sunday hike for this week actually fell on a Sunday, and with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid-70s, what a Sunday February 6 was. (We won't belabor events of that evening in Texas.) And I was waiting for a good-weather Sunday for this hike especially, as it's in a location that's very hard to get to (and even worse, get back from) on weekday afternoons and evenings as it is reached from points north and south only by some of Silicon Valley's busiest freeways.

In answer to some guesses on the video, my searches did not find an answer as to whether the salt produced on the South Bay is used mainly for highways (so I'd guess it is not). But I did confirm that Alviso is a section of the city of San Jose.

I've yet to determine whether the length of the second half of the video clips produced on this hike are approximately the same length as the first half (both halves are equal numerically), but I'm hoping this hike will require only two videos. In any case, the best scenery of the day should come in the next post.

Today's chuckle

I thought I wanted a career but came to realize I just want a paycheck.

Thought for today

No soul that seriously and constantly desires joy will ever miss it. Those who seek find. Those who knock it is opened.
